Sunset eyes

I was inspired by this picture to do a sunset look:

Here is my rendition:

Did you like it? Please click on each image to see a larger view. I try really hard to capture the colors from each angle so that you can recreate it easily.

Items used:
  • MAC Melon pigment was applied all over the eye area, and it was foiled (i.e. applied wet) over the lid
  • Urban Decay Half Baked was placed on the lid in the inner 1/3rd area
  • MAC Goldmine was placed on the lid in the center (next to the half baked eyeshadow)
  • MAC Orange was used in the crease
  • MAC Coppering was placed in the outer 1/3rd area of the crease
  • MAC Parfait Amour eyeshadow was applied very lightly on the browbone
  • MAC Entremauve pigment was applied wet below waterline
  • Waterline was lined with my fav. Indian Kohl (brand VLCC)
  • Bare Escentuals powder liner Black Ruby was applied wet on the upper lid

Gold with blue/teal liner

Hi All,

I adore this look! A simple gold eyeshadow punched up by lining under the waterline by two colors - blue and teal...with a winged eyeliner...so pretty IMHO :) What do you think?

Items used:
  • MAC eyeshadow in Rose Blanc as a wash all over the eye
  • Urban Decay eyeshadow in Half Backed was placed on the lid
  • Loreal Lineur Intense liquid eyeliner in Black was used on the upper lid to create the winged liner (love this eyeliner by the way! the color is rich black and so glossy!!)
  • Guerlain Loose Kohl in Blue3 was applied on the waterline
  • MAC Rebel Blue pigment was applied below it
  • MAC Teal pigment was placed below the Rebel Blue and winged a little as well
  • Curl lashes and apply 2 coats of your favorite mascara
