Here are the ones that I find work the best for me:
Powder
- Mac Vanilla (subtle beige golden sheen) and Melon (subtle peachy golden sheen) pigments!
- NARS albatross
- Wet n Wild Acapulco Glow
- Revlon's Skinlight (I tried this in Pink Light) and Benefit's Moon Beam worked well, but they slide off my face and disappear within an hour. I did love the "glow" effect they gave for that one hour though:)
I usually dust these on top of my cheekbones, and continue it up on my browbone, making a "C" shape (does this make sense?). I also apply it down the ridge of my nose.
Hope this helps someone...please let me know if you have questions.
Just wondering if you have tried the new lustre drops that came with Mac's new Style Warriors? I have heard that it will give a nice glow when mixed with foundation..just wondering what your take on it was?
ReplyDeleteI have not tried it yet - I was hearing that they dry out really fast, so you dont get a lot of time to work with them..
ReplyDeleteI have been wondering about Albatross FOREVER. The NARS website has a torrid/albatross duo that I wanted to get but I wasnt sure so here are my questions to you.
ReplyDelete1) does the albatross really even make a difference? I have skin about the same colour as yours, and its in pretty good shape, so do I even need a highlighter or is this going to make me look greasy?
2) isn't Torrid too pigmented? I have Deep Throat and sometimes I cant tell I even have it on but sometimes it feels like its bringing out the red in my skin too much. I cant decide if I should make the switch. Which brush do you apply it with?
Also I really do like your blog, found you via MUA. Nice to see what some colours would look like on my skin tone!
Thanks!
Hi Anonymous
ReplyDelete1)It really makes a difference on me, make me look really healthy and fresh.
2)Deep throat barely shows on me as well, but Torrid is AWESOME! Perfect for the summer
